Bahun (“we”, “us”) is a service operated by Bitnova Solutions that helps Nepali families abroad stay connected to their traditions. For any privacy question, contact us at info@mybahun.com.

• What you send us.When you use the “Connect with your Bahun” or contact forms: your name, email, and anything you choose to add, like your phone number, preferred date, timezone, and your message.
• Your consent. We record that you agreed to be contacted, so we can show we had your permission to reply.
• Limited technical data. Your IP address and browser user-agent at the moment you submit a form, used only to prevent spam and abuse.
• Anonymous usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel) to understand which pages are helpful. This does not identify you.
• Error diagnostics. If something breaks, we may collect technical error details (via Sentry) to fix it.

The astrology tools (birth chart, Kundali matching) run in your browser; the birth details you enter there are used only to compute your results and are not stored on our servers.

• To reply to you and introduce a Family Priest. This is on the basis of your consent and our taking steps at your request.
• To keep the service secure (spam prevention, diagnostics), on the basis of our legitimate interests.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Bahun, acting on our instructions:

• Neon (database hosting)
• Resend (sending and receiving our reply emails)
• Vercel (website hosting and analytics)
• Cloudflare (security and delivery)
• Sentry (error diagnostics)

Some of these providers operate outside your country (including the United States). Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer of personal data.

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and to support an ongoing relationship with your family, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, email info@mybahun.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the site to function.

Bahun is intended for adults arranging traditions for their families and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy as Bahun grows. We will revise the date above when we do, and significant changes will be made clear on the site.
